Restore the Budgeting/Planning Database Backup

Perform the following steps to restore the database:

  1. Log into the Repository: On the Main tab of your new Administrator, log into your repository if you are not already logged in.

  2. Expand Data Sources: In the left panel, expand the Data Sources node.

  3. Select the Profile:

    1. Select and right-click on the specific profile defined with the Budget Database that needs to be restored.

    2. Ensure the budget connection in the associated profile has been updated or created for this upgrade. If not, continuing with the steps below could corrupt your current production database.

  4. Restore Budget Database: Select Restore Budget Database.

  5. Confirm Restoration:

    1. A dialog will appear asking if you are sure you want to restore your Budget Database. It will notify you that all existing budgeting data for this profile and other profiles using this budgeting upload database will be deleted.

    2. Select Yes to proceed.

  6. Navigate to Backup: Using Windows Explorer, navigate to your Budget Database backup.

  7. Open Backup File: Highlight the Budget Database backup you wish to restore and select Open.

  8. Confirmation: An information dialog will notify you that your backup has been successfully restored.

Confirm the Upgrade Process

  1. Log into Hubble Reporting:

    1. Log into Hubble reporting for the new version.

    2. When logging in for the first time, your User ID will typically default to your Windows NT User ID. Change this to your Hubble User ID and enter your associated password.

  2. Agree to the EULA: Agree to the End User License Agreement.

  3. Run Reports:

    1. Run any report or template as desired, narrowing down the filters as needed.

    2. Confirm that data is showing on the report.
